CITY OF NATCHITOCHES, LOUISIANA

ORDINANCE NO. 1102

ADOPTED JULY 22, 1974

An Ordinance amending Ordinances Number 568 of 1951 and Number 755 of 1958, and all amendments thereto, (Subdivision Ordinance); in order to update the subdivision regulations the entire Subdivision Ordinance is hereinafter rewritten in its entirety, and repeals all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith. This is an Ordinance regulating the subdivision of land in the City of Natchitoches, Louisiana; requiring and regulating the preparation and presentation of Preliminary and Final Plats of such purpose; establishing minimum subdivision design standards; providing minimum improvements to be made or guaranteed to be made by the subdivider; setting forth the procedure to be followed by the Planning Commission in applying these rules, regulations and standards; and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Commissioners of the City of Natchitoches in legal session assembled; that availing themselves of the provision of La. R.S. 33:101 et seq., and in order to promote the health, safety, convenience, morals and general welfare of the community, to provide for the proper arrangement and width of streets in relation to other existing or planned streets and to the master plan, and to provide for adequate and convenient open spaces for traffic, vehicular parking, utilities, access of fire-fighting apparatus, recreation, light and air for the avoidance of congestion of population; setting forth the procedure to be followed by the planning commission in applying these regulations and standards; and prescribing for penalties for the violation of this ordinance; be and the same are hereby adopted to wit:
