§ 12-51. Duty.

It shall be the duty of the electrical board to examine all applicants for electrical contractors' licenses, electrically illuminated sign contractors' licenses, and licenses for electricians and maintenance men as provided in article IV of this chapter. When accompanied by the examination fee as provided in such article, such application shall be referred to the board for appropriate action.
