§ 12-50. Created; composition; appointment.

There is hereby created an electrical board of the city, composed of five (5) members, of which the city's chief electrical inspector shall be a member and chairman. The remaining four (4) members of the board shall be the director of utilities, two (2) qualified electrical contractors, and a graduate electrical engineer who is a resident of the city. The members of the board, with the exception of the chief electrical inspector and the director of utilities, shall be appointed each year by the city council to serve for a term of one year from the date of their respective appointments, or until their successors are appointed.
