§ 6-33.5. Violations.

  • (a)

    Permitting dog to wear tags of another dog. It shall be unlawful for the owner of any dog to permit said dog to wear any rabies inoculation tag or license tag not issued to that particular dog, and any owner violating this provision shall be punished by a ten dollar ($10.00) fine.

    (b)

    Removal of tags. Whoever removes from any dog a collar bearing a license tax tag or a rabies inoculation tag, or alters or removes any such license tax tag or rabies inoculation tag from a dog properly registered as herein provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and the cost of the prosecution or imprisoned for not more than thirty (30) days, or both.
