No person shall cut, break or otherwise cross a street, curb, curb and gutter, or
sidewalk without first, in addition to paying for the fixed fee for the permit required
above, posting with the city a bond, either a cash bond or surety bond acceptable
to the city, in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) which shall assure the
proper replacement of the street, curb, curb and gutter, and/or sidewalk removed.
