§ 23-24. Approved fire extinguisher required; festival and fair operations included.

  • (a)

    Every booth, building, temporary building, space or area being used to house a temporary business, including temporary business locations during the Christmas Festival days, or during the Natchitoches Parish Fair, or any other time, within the city limits of Natchitoches, shall be provided with at least one (1) approved fire extinguisher as defined by Ordinance No. 50 of 1983.

    (b)

    Violation of this section or Ordinance No. 50 of 1983 [section 13-2], shall subject the business or operation to the immediate revocation of its permit issued under this chapter, and the City of Natchitoches, through the fire department or any of its duly appointed inspectors, shall have the authority to close the business or operation until such time as the provisions of this section are complied with.
