§ 23-20. Same—Not transferable; personal nature of permit; assistants.

The permit provided for in this article shall not be transferable nor give authority to more than any one person to sell or exhibit goods or merchandise as an itinerant vendor, either by agent or clerk or in any other way than his proper person, but any person having obtained such permit may have the assistance of one or more persons in conducting the sale or exhibit who shall have authority to aid that principal, but not act for or without him.
