§ 19-200. Definitions.

For the purposes of this division, the following terms shall have the following meanings:

Food cart/truck vendor means a food vendor that operates by selling food and/or beverages from a vehicle directly to consumers. It does not include wholesale food distributors who sell food to parties engaged in the business of buying and selling food.

Vehicle shall mean every device by which persons or things may be transported upon a public highway or bridge, except devices used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks. A bicycle or a ridden animal shall be construed as a vehicle, and a trailer, semitrailer or cart shall be construed as a separate vehicle.
