§ 12-16. Illuminated signs.

(a)

Persons operating under an electrically illuminated sign contractor's license will not be permitted to run primary wiring for signs, or to tie same into existing primary wiring or branch circuits.

(b)

Any and all electrically illuminated signs must be installed at a height at least ten (10) feet above sidewalk level, measured to the bottom edge of such sign. No sign shall extend over the street.
