    (1)

All temporary services will be metered.

    (2)

An electric meter will be purchased from the city at the same time the permit for construction is issued. This meter will be used for temporary service and later transferred to the permanent meter loop.

    (3)

A fee of ten dollars ($10.00) will be charged for temporary hook-up to be paid when the building permit is issued.

    (4)

The total electric energy (KWH) from the start of construction until the occupant or resident of the building has placed a deposit for utility will be charged to the person or firm who was responsible for the construction of the building.

    (5)

It is also to be understood that the person or firm responsible for the construction will be responsible for making arrangements with the city hall for the transfer of the meter to another party or to request that the meter be read and the power turned off.

    (b)

Underground. Underground services will be installed complete and in their permanent location, in accordance with section 30-19 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Natchitoches, before any hook-up to the power will be made.

When the construction is completed, and necessary arrangements are made with the city, the temporary service will be disconnected and the permanent hook-up will be made. The temporary service meter will be installed in the permanent meter loop.

    (d)

Electrical service shall not be furnished until the disconnect is installed.
